The New England area as a whole has a large homeless population, but Boston is particularly known for having many people living on the streets. Because we are located in Boston and have many customers all over and around the city, this is an issue that is very close to home. We are always looking for a way to make the lives of those in our community and all around us better. For 18 years, Lenox-Martell has participated in “Lunches for the Homeless,” an event where our staff goes out to the homeless population in the city and offers them a bagged lunch. Our trucks are out on the streets of Boston packed full of lunches, which we make and pack ourselves, to feed anyone in need. These events are always a wonderful experience and opportunity to give back. We get to meet and connect with many people and are always looking forward to doing it again in the future!
